Fall brings with it a delightful combination of cooler temperatures and the annual transition from summer grilling to the kitchen stovetop. In this class we’ll celebrate the season by creating 3 sensational soups: Hearty Potato Dill, Spinach Lentil, and Creamy Tomato Bisque—all perfect with a warm and crusty garlic ciabatta but great accompaniments to a gooey grilled cheese sandwich or seasonal salad. We’ll learn the characteristics of good soups—from broths and stocks to fresh ingredients—as well as practice our knife skills and the fine art of timing in meal preparation. Participants will receive recipes for all soups and take home leftovers.
YOUTH ELIGIBILITY: This class is open to adults, as well as youth participants ages 12+ who plan to attend with an authorized adult who is also registered and participating.
