Pronounced “foo – gahs”, fougasse is focaccia’s French cousin. Baked directly on the hearth floor (or baking stone), instead of an oiled pan, fougasse is crispier than it’s Italian cousin and delicious in it’s own right. In this class students will individually make a classic cured olive fougasse (yes, you can make it without olives) and collectively make a few varieties of focaccia.
This class is not eligible for fee remission for Ivy Tech employees due to limited capacity. Please see our CLL fee remission guidelines for more information.
