A Pavlova is an incredibly light, sweet dessert made of meringue topped with a lightly sweetened whipped cream and fresh fruit. It is perfect as a centerpiece or a simple after dinner dessert. Each student will make an 8” Pavlova to taste and take home, best eaten the day it's made. We will also learn about and create a few easy meringue “cookies”. Meringues and Pavlovas are naturally Gluten Free. This course includes both demo and hands-on components that you will learn in Ivy Tech’s professional kitchens!

NOTES:
- All CLL baking and cooking classes culminate with a shared meal or supplementary food that will be available during the class.
- All supplies included. Students will receive copies of the recipes, as well as any remaining food to take home. Please bring containers to take home any leftovers.
- We will do our best to accommodate dietary/allergy restrictions, though please be aware of the class details and potential limitations of ingredient substitution.
