In this camp for rising 6th-8th graders, we'll focus on sustainability in sculpture and 3D design by transforming cardboard and other paper materials into unique up-cycled works of art, including mini-sculpture projects and your own personally designed large-scale sculpture.

The art world is getting creative with the goal of sustainability in mind, and by learning to keep reusable materials out of our landfills and oceans you are helping our planet and learning how to become a more eco-friendly artist!

In the process, we'll learn how to re-purpose household items for tools and recyclables for your materials. We will also gain an enhanced understanding of 3D art forms, elements of design, and develop skills in sculptural construction and processes, as well as applied techniques for surface treatments. All supplies provided.
