Mindful Movement is based in the ancient practice of Qigong and has its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Low/no impact, slow and easy to follow repetitive movements soothe the mind, nourish the soul and refresh internal energy. In this course, participants will learn to identify and "feel" their Qi (their unique energy) and through Mindful Movement practice may help them relax, reduce stress, increase energy, gain a better sense of balance and overall well-being.
Please note that this Qigong series will be taught as all standing. Movements can be modified for sitting. Participants may wish to consult with their physician prior to taking this class if they have any medical issues.
