Acting for Middles: Alien Invasion (Grades 6-8)

From Star Wars to E.T. to Dune, Acting for Middles: Alien Invasion is a fast-paced and fun introduction to acting that will use scenes from popular kids' alien-genre movies to focus on the building blocks of acting techniques, including voice and speech development, creative movement, and exploration of character. Through collaborative scene study, students will emerge from the class more articulate, engaged, and confident performers. This class is perfect for beginners, as well as acting students with some experience.

NOTE: A limited number of scholarships are available for Theater & Film programs. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship.
