Come explore the world of software development, games, and computer science in this 1-week camp for rising 8th-12th graders! If you're interested in video games, coding, or if you're just curious about software development, this camp is for you. Using beginner-friendly software, you'll develop a simple game in the style of 90's classic Gameboy games. Once your game is complete, you'll learn how to play your game in a game boy emulator on a Raspberry Pi mini pc. Because all the software we will need is free, you will be able to keep exploring and growing long after the camp is over! All supplies provided.

PRE-REQUISITES: An interest in software development, games, or computer science. Previous coding experience would be helpful but it is not required. This camp is for rising 8th-12th graders.

YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of scholarships are available for Ivy Tech Youth Programs participants. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship. If you are interested, please click here for more information.
