For rising K-2nd graders, Broadway Beginnings offers an introduction to the art of musical theater while promoting confidence and instilling the spirit of collaboration in young children. Broadway Beginnings ushers budding young performers onto a lifelong path of arts appreciation through creative group play in a fun, interactive, and supportive musical camp environment. Led by a professional musical theater educator, campers will spend the week building skills in singing, movement, and musical storytelling. The week will culminate in an afternoon showcase that allows campers to shine in both group and individual performances!
Camp showcase will be held on Friday, June 9 @ 3:30pm
What you'll need for camp:
- Filled water bottle
- Sack lunch
- Additional snacks as needed
- Closed-toe athletic or dance shoes with clean soles
- Comfortable clothes for dancing/moving
NOTE: A limited number of scholarships are available for Theater & Film programs. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship. If you are interested, please click here for more information.
