Students will make and take home a classic tarte au citron, perfect for the spring holidays! We will cover the techniques to make a basic tart dough, a tangy lemon curd, and billowy Swiss meringue. There will be an option to make the tart dough gluten-free. The added benefit to learning how to make a lemon tart is that the components can all be utilized in other desserts! This course includes both demo and hands-on components that you will learn in Ivy Tech’s professional kitchens.

NOTES:
- All supplies provided, including supplementary food available during class. Students will receive copies of the recipes, as well as any remaining food to take home. Please bring containers to take home any leftovers.
