Step into the world of high-tech manufacturing and automation at this hands-on summer camp built for curious, motivated high school students. Over five action-packed days, you’ll dive into the skills that power today’s industries—starting with circuits and soldering, then moving into programmable automation controls, and finishing with industrial robotics. This isn’t sit-and-listen learning; it’s build-it, wire-it, and program-it learning.
You’ll solder your own series circuits, use programmable controllers to run automated systems, and program industrial robots to play games. Along the way, you’ll explore in-demand careers that offer strong pay and job security, learn how local industries use this technology every day, and get a real preview of Ivy Tech classes that prepare skilled technicians for these fields. If you like working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing your work come to life, this camp is your chance to try it out.
All camp supplies will be provided.
