Ivy Arts for Kids is back this summer with another immersive experience in the arts for rising 1st-5th graders! Over the course of this 2-week camp, we'll explore ceramics, fiber arts, acrylic and watercolor painting, crafting, and mixed media through new activities and projects each session that will spark your child's imagination and inspire creativity throughout the summer and beyond.
Guided by instructors and assistants who provide a wide range of strengths and expertise, Ivy Arts for Kids provides a collaborative space for young artists to continue developing or for those who are curious about exploring their creative side to feel supported in a new journey. Using Ivy Tech's Fine Arts and Ceramics classroom spaces, we'll split participants into groups by age and experience in order to provide as much individual instruction and opportunity for skill development as possible. As always, each camp session culminates with an art showcase on the last day, giving family and friends the chance to see their young artist's creations on full display!
All materials and equipment are provided. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt, work apron, and their own art kit to take home at the end of camp.
NOTE: Ivy Arts for Kids is repeatable across multiple sessions, as instructors and content will vary, though it is designed as a half-day camp and is not intended for participation in both AM and PM sessions concurrently.
Camp Communications: Information about sign-in/sign-out procedures, parking and directions, our end-of-camp art showcase, and schedule reminders will be provided via email the week before the start date. All camp communications will be sent from lifelonglearning@ivytech.edu.
YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of scholarships are available for Ivy Tech Youth Programs participants. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship.
