For rising 1st-3rd graders, Broadway Beginnings: In the Big Blue World offers an introduction to the art of musical theater while promoting confidence and instilling the spirit of collaboration in young children. Broadway Beginnings ushers budding young performers onto a lifelong path of arts appreciation through creative group play in a fun, interactive, and supportive musical camp environment.
Led by a professional musical theater educator, campers will spend the week exploring the splash-tacular and fin-tastical songs of Broadway and beyond as they build skills in musicality, vocal performance, movement, stage etiquette, and musical storytelling. The week will culminate in an afternoon showcase at the John Waldron Arts Center that allows campers to shine in both group and individual performances from high-energy, kid-friendly shows like Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond, The Little Mermaid, Moana, SpongeBob the Musical, Luca and more!
Camp Showcase: In the Big Blue World will be performed Friday, June 26; 3:30pm at the John Waldron Arts Center.
