Color isn’t just visual—it’s conceptual, emotional, and deeply material. In this 4-week course, we’ll learn about the power of color through hands-on class activities, creative exercises, and discussion of artist examples. As a group, we'll explore how color can stir emotion through essential concepts of color perception, the meanings colors convey, and how they interact with one another.

Our goal is to sharpen our ability to observe, master effective and harmonious color mixing, and develop a deeper understanding of the art of color harmony. Whether you’re a practicing artist or a curious lifelong learner, you’ll leave with a stronger sense of how to use color intentionally in a variety of settings.

No experience required. All supplies will be provided for in-class activities.
