We got Annie! Constellation’s Broadway Kids: Annie In Concert (Grades 5-8) is a 10-week performance class that gives budding young actors and singers the opportunity to learn and workshop scenes and ensemble numbers from Charles Strouse’s classic and beloved Annie. Under the direction of a seasoned, professional teaching artist and musical director, Debby Jenkins, students will develop the building blocks of stage etiquette, musicianship, musicality, and performance that will highlight storytelling as well as solo and ensemble singing with fun, dynamic musical numbers like “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” “Tomorrow,” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” in an enriching and supportive musical theater environment. The class will culminate in a concert-style showcase on April 23.
Notes:
- Students should be comfortable singing in front of others.
