Lights, Camera, Minecraft! Constellation’s Minecraft Moviemaking for Teens (grades 7-12) will immerse students in the creative world of filmmaking, inspired by the popular game and culminating in their own cinematic masterpiece! In addition to gaining practical filmmaking experience in front of and behind the camera, students will collaborate to craft compelling characters and a beginning-to-end narrative using the Minecraft universe as a backdrop. Story development and group discussions will promote narrative fluency, boost creativity, and promote imaginative thinking. Additionally, students will design and build sets within the Minecraft environment, honing their spatial reasoning and encouraging innovative solutions to creative challenges, resulting in increased confidence and self-expression.
