Dive into a new style of drawing this summer with our Pop Art Landscapes camp for rising 3rd-5th graders! In this camp, students will develop skills with colored pencils and markers to create a series of landscapes in the style of Peter Max using the bold colors, themes, and imagery of Pop Art. All skill levels are welcome and there will be plenty of room for individual ideas and preferences, so students are encouraged to get creative with this multi-faceted 2D art camp! All supplies are provided, including a t-shirt, and each session culminates with an art show at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center where family and friends will get to see their young artist's creations on full display!
The Art Show will take place at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center at the end of the last day of camp. We will provide more details about this, as well as drop-off/pick-up instructions in initial communications as we approach the start date.
Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available for Ivy Tech Youth Programs participants. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship. If you are interested, please click here for more information. This camp is not eligible for Ivy Tech Employee Fee Remission due to limited capacity.
Transportation: The City of Bedford is able to provide transportation support to families located within the City of Bedford who request assistance (must give at least 48 hours notice when requesting to ensure availability). Please indicate your interest in the release form during registration or in our Youth Scholarship Form if you are requesting financial assistance for camp and we will follow up via email a week before the camp start with transportation request information.
