Constellation’s Broadway Kids Junior: The Sound of Music In Concert (grades 3-4) is a 7-week performance class that gives budding young performers the opportunity to learn and workshop ensemble songs from Rogers and Hammerstein’s classic and beloved The Sound of Music. Under the direction of a seasoned, professional teaching artist, students will develop the building blocks of stage etiquette, musicianship, musicality, and performance as they bring to life musical numbers like “Do-Re-Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” and “So Long, Farewell” in an enriching and supportive musical theater environment. The class will culminate in a short concert on December 17. (Students should be comfortable singing in front of others.)
