Get ready to SLAY! Constellation’s K-Pop Demon Hunters: A Live-Action Moviemaking Mission (Grades 6-9) invites students into the world of the animated global sensation, K-Pop Demon Hunters. In this high-energy, hands-on performance class, students will form their own stylish and elite K-Pop team –  inspired by the demon-battling group, HUNTR/X – as they recreate iconic scenes and musical numbers from the movie while adding their own creative spin. Using both personal devices and Constellation’s professional film equipment, students will film their own live-action short film, which will include zero-contact “combat” choreography inspired by the film's dynamic action sequences.

This mission promotes narrative fluency as students translate animated storytelling into live performance captured on film. Fostering imaginative thinking by tackling the challenges of bringing a fantastical world to life will build confidence and encourage self-expression in a positive, supportive learning environment.

NOTE: A limited number of scholarships are available for Theater & Film programs. Students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program to receive a scholarship.
