Chocolate, the babka of choice! In this class, students will join Chef Stacy Strand in the professional baking lab of Ivy Tech's Hospitality program to make a 1-day babka that doesn’t compromise on flavor or texture. Students will take home a 9”x5” loaf sized babka to enjoy or freeze for future celebrations. This course includes both demo and hands-on components that you will learn in Ivy Tech’s professional kitchens!
This class is not eligible for fee remission for Ivy Tech employees due to limited capacity. Please see our CLL fee remission guidelines for more information.
NOTES:
- All CLL baking and cooking classes culminate with a shared meal or supplementary food that will be available during the class.
- All supplies included. Students will receive copies of the recipes, as well as any remaining food to take home. Please bring containers to take home any leftovers.
- We will do our best to accommodate dietary/allergy restrictions, though please be aware of the class details and potential limitations of ingredient substitution.
